best wishes

Today's color challenge was bashful blue, celery, creamy caramel, I found my self trying to find a piece of celery card stock but I started cleaning a scrap bend and found bordering blue, creamy caramel, and mellow moss close of enough I had just a few minutes to play today. This card actually came easier then I thought.

color challenge pink olives

Today's color challenge was using pretty & pink, regal rose and old olive. I love these colors together. I used the new hostess stamp set level 2 "garden silhouettes". First I inked the stamp in old olive then with a q-tip I wiped off the ink and used my pretty & pink marker for the flowers. I tried several different layouts and love them all.

quick cards

Two quick cards to show. I made both of these in my RV with limited supplies.
I finally got a hold of my new stamping stuff from Stampin up. It is late but I got everything cut and mounted. I was excited to find out that the stamp set in the SU Simply Sent Card kit was already pre cut I just had to punch it out and mount it on the wood. Now where do I start?

Enjoy tag and cards

Beautiful cards and fun to make. One card I CASED from the catalog and the second was to show a different way to cut out the flower. I demonstrated the fake stitching at my workshop and the guest made the tag to go with some candy in a cello bag. We had fun.

This is my last post until next week when we get back from our camping trip.

I hope everyone gets lots of stamping done. I will miss my blogger friends.

so safron tent topper card

This tent topper card was fun to do at my workshop yesterday.

The flower was inked first with so safron and the edges were tipped with regal rose. Window punch used for to show the words. My fellow stampers at the workshop loved the designer two sided paper.

I have packing to do and shopping also. We are leaving Tuesday for a five night camping trip. I am trying to decided how I can stamp on this trip. I do not think I am ready for the withdrawal pains.

Trees with Chalk

This is a card I used for a make & take at my workshop today. I stamped with some awesome girls. It was fun and they loved the new Stampin up catalog. This card was quick we chalked the white card stock then stamped the trees in basic brown followed with a sentiment popped up and then layered.

Sticker flowers

Today I was stumped for an idea when I read the splitcoast challenge to use flowers with the greeting in the flower. I found some stickers from a retired package of stampin up and quickly came up with this card. I used small stickers on the smaller flowers that read "love" and "delight" This is really out of my box I did not stamp a single thing on this card. I had everything still laying out so I came up with two more cards using the same supplies. Happy Stamping.

Stylus challenge

Today splitcoast had a stylus challenge on Ways to use it. I needed a quick card for a friend whose husband is very ill. This was so fast I'm glad I got my stylus out. I will have to check out the new classy brass templates in the Stampin Up catalog.

I used sage shadow, bravo burgundy and creamy caramel paper. The template use has been retired.

Very busy day getting ready for my stampin up workshop, husband's birthday and we are going camping next week.

Color Challenge

Today's Color Challenge on Splitcoast was using bright colors.

This card was quick and fun. Colors used today are Tempting turquoise,

real red, and green galore. I used the "seeing spot" stamp set from Stampin UP.

Flower Filled set is now retired. I love this set hate to see it go. This set is listed on my sets for sale. please take a look at my earlier post. If you want the set please let me know. I will also send this card with the set as an added bonus.

On this card I embossed in white the greeting "many thanks" from the All Year Cheer I set ( also on retired list for sale). card stock and ink colors are more mustard, night of navy, ruby red.

thanks for taking a peek.

happy stamping.

Finding Joy Sunday Afternoon

I found joy this Sunday afternoon stamping this card. This layout is from Charmaine's gallery on the Splitcoat web site. Today's challenge was to look at her gallery and come up with a different idea using one of her cards as our sketch. I have been playing with scallops lately using my slit punch and this card was easy and quick to do. I also love the eyelets on the scallop border.

Have a good Week.

Happy Stamping everyone.

Joy Fold Card

I put my Joy Fold card on today. This card was fun to make. I was challenged by an awesome blogger beate on her blog Fresh & Fun. She has a wonderful site I have been checking it out each day and trying new things.

Now for this card once you get the folds down the rest is anything goes. After adding the front tab with my window punch the front flap stays closed and is easily flipped open to the inside of the card. I left the inside blank for now. I used the "looks Like Spring" set from Stampin up, So Saffron Card stock, Celery designer paper with so saffron, and a touch of regal rose ink on the front flower. I used olive green ink also.

Happy Stamping everyone.

New Catty Lovely as a Tree

As I said before Lovely As a Tree is my favorite stamp set. When I first saw this card on page 107 in the new catalog I loved it. so when the challenge today on Splitcoast was to case a card from the new catalog I new exactly which one I wanted to make. The stamp is inked up with markers directly to the stamp. Very pretty. I did not put a greeting on the card I will add one later, I'm not to sure how I will use this card yet.

Good evening to you all.

Ruffled Ribbon Card

Today on Splitcoast Ways to use it challenge was all about Ribbon. I tried a new method for me I call it ruffled ribbon. I applied sticky strip tape to the whole length of the ribbon then ruffled it when I applied it to the card. By pinching and pleating it. Remember when you do this to cut about 3" more ribbon then the length you are covering. I also wanted to stamp up a card with another retiring set I have for sale. Check out previous post for sale prices. I used True Thyme and Cranberry Crisp paper and ink. Some shading on the flower with true thyme marker.

Happy Stamping

Au Chocolate Thank you Card

Yesterday, the sketch challenge on Splitcoast was a great one. This sketch can be used for quick cards. I used the Au Chocolate designer series double sided paper with the flower and in the middle from the current stampin up set "seeing spots", spiral punch and brown ribbon. Cheek out the new catalog's double sided paper "Cerise" and "Charbon" that looks like it has the same design as the Au chocolate. It really moves your eyes around the card.

Fresh Flowers

I pulled out the Fresh Flowers stamp set retiring with Stampin Up this year. It was fun coming up with this card. This was a quick and easy card and I think it would work well for a workshop card but with a current stamp set from catalog. My Fresh Flowers stamp has some stains on the rubber but is still in good stamping condition. It is on my retired stamp for sale list. If you would like to buy it contact me.

nice and easy notes

Nice and Easy Notes was one of the first stamp sets I purchased when I became a demostrator. I have not used it in a while and after cleaning out my stamps and gathering my retiring stamp sets all together. I decided to stamp the Nice and Easy images one last time for a quick stash so when I need a quick card.

I also made up a Thank you card using this set. I also used the color challenge colors fron the cc121 splitcoast challenge today.

Chocolate chip, pretty and pink with old olive. I used the designer series paper Petals & Paisleys new in the SU catalog and colored in the tulips with chalk and a blender pen. It still needed somethink else so I did faux stitching with my white gel pen and added a clear and pink button.

Enjoy

Looks Like Spring (friend) Card

This card was made for the featured stamper challenge on splitcoaststamper web site. This card idea was from Faith Holrichter you can fine more of her cards through her blog Markie's Mom.

I used Looks like spring stamp set again for a pretty spring card.

family scrapbook 12 x 12

This 12 x 12 "Family" scrapbook page layout features a easy tag stamped with the Stampin up set "Looks like Spring". This set goes great with the triple flower punch set. I used the corner step punch also to mat the photo blocks. Tags can be used on scrapbook pages or cards for a great added touch.

Enjoy,

Wanda
