simple delight


I made this simple card to go along with two challenges. First to use Real Red, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou and then for using up your scraps. I had the red strip with gold embossed crest left over from a scrapbook page I did last week. I love the look of gold embossed on red.

River Rock Leaf



Today I stamped a card using the challenge from Fresh and Fun. I embossed the greeting and leaf with clear embossing powder. It does not show up to great in the picture but I like how the real thing turned out. This card is also for an extra number in Barb's bingo game.

I made this birthday card after I love how it turned out. I have been trying to use up scraps of paper left on my table. I inked the flowers in turquise and then shaded with night of navy marker.

priceless butterflies

I made this card after drooling over Nancy's blog. She is an amazing stamper. The two butterflies from the Stampin up Priceless set are cut out and embossed with clear embossing powder. I admire stampers who cut out detail on their cards it is not easy for me.

Pretty little 3 x 3 not cards for some fast thank you notes. These were fun to make and I love, love my scallop punch. I used wild wasabi textured 12 x 12 card stock.

card for Dad



I Made this birthday card for my dad. It was quick and I like the layout. After I inked the flower in really rust I used brown marker on stems and I dotted the tips of flowers with the more mustard marker. Happy Birthday Dad!

ONe layer Trees



Single layer embossed thank you cards for some special men in my life. They turned out pretty I think. I used the oval coluzzle and shaded in the blue background with chalk before embossing the trees with clear EP using the versa mark pad then the forest foliage ink pad. check out Barb's Bingo game on her blog.

Today I used two prima flowers on this thank you card. the centers are tiny little crystal jewels. I will send this one in for an extra BINGO number from Barb's awesome site.

Time well spent




Time Well spent today on a card inspired by the colors on the front cover of the new Stampin up catalog. I am warming up to this new stamp set which was a gift for all demostrators from Stampin Up. Picture does not really show the actual colors I used mellow moss and cameo coral. Second picture shows a bookmark I made for a customer to go along with her new catalog.
I will submit both of these for extra BINGO numbers on Barb's site.
