Buttons and Bird

At Marks fines Papers Speedy Fox TV they have a challenge on Tuesday's call a sketch with a twist.  today the twist was to use at least 3 buttons.  Using the stamp set call "Tweet That" from Marks finest papers I this colored in the image with markers.  the leaf branches were then punched out and of course adding details with 3 buttons.

Distressed Kitty

Working on a challenge tonight for Marks Finest Papers Monday FOSTV challenge #14.  The challenge was to use the distressing technique.  I distressed the layers and sponged the scallop image and greeting also.

Autumn Fox

I have a card to share today for the Simple Salutation challenge at mark's fines papers.  I used watercolor card stock and colored in the Fox image from "Autumn Glory"

Stocking Card

The Sketch with a Twist this week at Marks Finest Papers was to follow the sketch but to make anything but a traditional square or rectangular card.  I came up with a Stocking Card using my big die from Stampin up.  The card opens up and your message can go inside.

Fall Leaves

My card today was is for the FOSTV #40 Challenge we were to use chipboard.  It does not show up to well on my photo but the greeting tag is a chipboard tag I stamped the words "fall leaves" on it and then stamped and embossed leaves from  Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. "Autumn Glory" stamp set.  this was a fun challenge.  there is still time to check it  out here.

Get Well Little Owl

The little owl was built from the build an owl punch by Stampin Up.  He is tucked inside the tree trunk.  The tree was done with the  Coredination Card Stock Early Espresso run through the big shot in the wood grain embossing folder and then sanded to show the beautiful wood grain.  I added the scallop circle with my "Get Well" stamp (now retired) from stampin up.
The little heart with rinestone bling and the scallop trim border addes the special details that make this card special.

Flying High Happy Birthday

The Simple Salutation Challenge this week was to use transportation on your card for example, planes, trains or cars.  I went straight to my MDS2 program and downloaded a little plane which I colored red and hide punches behind the windows to add some more  color.  The clouds are punch from the scallop oval layered with bashful blue card stock and run through the big shop with the polka dots embossing folder.  My greeting today is the "Happy Birthday" from the Background Fun stamp set by Mark's fines Papers.

I decided to use the little fox stamp from the Marks fines Papers stamp set "Background Fun" and the Happy Birthday stamp from "Birthday Mini" set.  This layout is for the sketch with a twist challenge  #13.

The leaves on today's card are punched out with a retired leaf punch from Stampin Up.  Added a button and a greeting for the challenge at MFP the Simple Salutation.

challenge on SpeedyTV was fun to create the twist was to make a card for a friend.  I used the canning jar and the flowers from the Stampin Up stamp set called "perfectly preserved" as well, as the die cut Cannery Set with my Big Shot.

Today's card is for the First challenge of Twist of Faith.  This challenge is to make a card showing joy or you could use the verse.

This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad it it.  Psalm  118:24

I created the image and the verse with my MDS2 program from stamping up.  I glad I found this site and I look forward to the challenges to come.

The Sketch with a Twist for MFP challenge #10 was to use lace on your card.  This is a 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 square card.  River rock, and cherry cobbler card stock and in from Stampin up.  I used the Tweet Blessings stamp set from Marks finest Paper.

IBM - DC001 Digital Sketch Challenge

 I tried my hand at a digital challenge today.

I used the labels Collection Framelits and the stamp set called "thoughts and Prayers" from Stampin Up on this card.  I entered it in the SF&FC challenge on MFP site is challenge #123 - Make a Sympathy card.

For the Tutorial Time challenge on MFP we were to use chalk and a blender pen to color our stamped image.  I stamped the little bird with a stampin up set called  "Language of Friendship" and the gretting "happy Birthday" is from MFP set called Birthday Mini.  The bird punch from stampin up was a quick way to cut out the bird image and the wings and leaf branches.

Bold Flower

This bright Tempting Turquoise card with a DSP bold flower cut out is for the Challenge Simple Salutations at MFP.  I heat embossed the greeting from the Mini Butterfly MFP set added a matching button and scallop trim.

 Finally had a chance to use my new window and window box die cut with this card.  I punched out the flowers and leaves and added rhinestone centers.

Fall corn

Today I used the corn image from the Stampin Up stamp set called Perfectly Preserved and the matching DSP Orchard Harvest.  This is my entry for a free stamp set from Marks finest Papers challange "Friends of SpeedyTV #35.  labor day marks the begining for fall season and this card was inspired by the fall colors.

I find it hard to CAS cards but today I made this card for the MFP simple Salutations challenge.  the Theme was "gardens" and we could not use flowers, so I hope it is ok that I only used them on the inside of the card.  I used a watering can for the front of the card image.

Tweet Blessings

Followed the sketch with a twist on MFPspeedytv for this card.  I used fabric for the flower and the banner layered under the little bird image. Light shining on greeting but it says "Tweet Blessings"

Butterfly Pink to Raspberry ripple

I really like the way this card turned out.  I used Raspberry Ripple, primerose petal, rose red and pink pirquette for the graduation of color.
The Chevron embossing folder, oval punches as well as the new Stampin up butterfly punch with the papillon potpourri stamp set.  beautiful raspberry ripple ribbon.  The stamped striped image is from the  stamp set summer silhouettes and the greeting is from petite pairs.

Jar of Apples

This was a fun card to make with my new Stampin up "goodies".
I decided to play along with the Freshly Made Sketch challenge #47.
 I used cajun craze for the base of the card,  Stamp set "Perfectly Preserved", DSP Orchard Harvest. ( the "thank you") was from a retired stamp set not sure of the name. 
First I embossed the jar stamp on vellum then flipped it over and shaded in the blue shadow with a marker.  I then cut out two jars with the matching Framelits Die call Cannery Set. The embossed vellum jar and one n vanilla.
I used other dies from the set to cut the jar lid and apples after I stamped them.  glues the apples underneath the vellum jar and added twine to the car lid.

Fall Leaf in Chalk
