Natural Beauty

I know this Stamp set ( Natural Beauty)will be retiring, but it is still one of my favorite sets. So I thought I would use again to show you a beautiful Slit punch card. I love this look, I used the slit punch to make the scallop edge on this card. I used Stampin up card stock So Saffron inked with classic basic brown ink, Mellow Moss and confetti cream. The words and butterfly are embossed with crystal clear powder I inked the stamp first with versamark and then basic brown. The butterfly is water colored with an aqua painter using mellow moss, more mustard, really rust ink. I then added the brown ribbon and paper flowers (not stampin up) with brad.

If you like this stamp set let me know It is on my retired stamp set list and is for sale. The regular price in catalog was $19.95 now its on sale now for $9.95. Email me are give me a call and if it is still available its yours.

Square Steps Corner punch card

I made this thank you card for my hostess Nancy. I know she will like it. Notice the great way the square steps corner punch was used for the thank you flower. You punch all four corners of the square (here I used a 2" square) then fold each corner in. I used some new patterned paper that will be in the new Stampin up catalog, garden green and confetti cream. Inked the flower and thank you from the "Seeing Spots" stamp set with brilliant blue ink.

Joy in the little things

Here is my first card to try this blog site out.

I used a circle theme for the card with the Polka Dot Paisly paper and stamp set. I love the freshness of the card and the added touch of Olive brads. Let me know what you think.
