I created a 8 x 8 page with my MDS, later I will put it in a shadow box with some additional embellishments such as ribbon, button and brads. I do not have a picture on completed project yet. I am learning and hope to have more time to play later.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours. This was my first try at making my Christmas card with MDS it was fun and I know that I will be using MDS a lot this new year. May you all be blessed and enjoy your family.

The color combo for this card was chosen from The Rubber Redneck Stampede "Winter Wonderland" Day 1 Challenge. I used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Very Vanilla. Holly from the Rubber Redneck blog offered this class. She is an awesome stamper.
These Merry Critters are from the stamp set for sale now in the mini catalog. The holiday raccoons and tree were stamped on water color paper and colored in using markers and a blender pen.
This card came together quickly at my last workshop as a make and take. The ornament punch was used to punch out the ornament from Jolly holiday DSP and then popped up on dimensionals.
Fold down a corner and tie your card shut with a strip of Stampin Up's new fabric, add a big button and a glimmer brad with the snowflake punch to embellish this fun card. The second picture shows the card you can pull out to write your note on or maybe add a recipe. This shabby look comes from the shading and torn edges.
When I clean up my desk I like to make a 3x3 card with the left over scraps. today is a sweet little blue bird singing in his cage. the tiny flower punch and brad are a special added touch.
Tuesday a week ago the challenge at splitcoaststampers was a color challenge. the three colors suggested were Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichokes, and pretty in pink. I love cherry cobbler (red) it is so yummy.
Last Monday on splitcoaststampers there was a challenge to use ribbon some way other than a knot or a bow. I used about 2 inches of ribbon with some wire and beads to create this fun butterfly. check out by clicking on splitcoaststamper for all there fun challenges.
Another 3x3 note card to say thanks to a special customer. This time I used the owl punch again but trimmed off the ears and feet to make a small vase. I used the two step extra large bird punch for the branches and the itty bitty shapes punch pack for the flowers.
When I was clearing off my workspace I found two more owls for the Stampin Up owl punch. I am lovin this punch. the "New" 2 3/8 scallop circle (extra large) punch is awesome. I try to stamp some 3x3 thanks you note cards with the scraps left out on my table.
Today it is bright and colorful! the Big Shot is a die cutting machine you can order from me through Stampin UP. It made it a snap to make these cards today.
I seem to go straight to my bird punch I just love it. The white first layer is dry embossed with a texture plate as well as the circle punch. the bird punch is done in three pieces bird body in DSP, wing and tree branch in card stock. I sponged around the wing and added rind stone crystal brads.
Today is my Mom's Birthday, "Happy Birthday Mom". This is the crochet afghan I made for her. The bright flowers go great with her smile. Mom loves to read and this afghan is the prefect size for her to cover up with and enjoy her afternoon read.
Today's card was a result of cleaning out my card stock scraps. I am trying to use up some of the over load of little pieces. I think one of most favorite colors from Stamp Up is "Baja Breeze"
Charming little pink flowers on a branch. Pink flowers punch with itty bitty shapes punch pack from Stampin Up. added sparkles for center of flowers and a delicate ribbon knotted bow with hat pin. Very soft card.
Another card from my workshop shown here demonstrates the scallop edge punch from Stampin up. This punch was used to make the medallion square of the main image.
I know it has been way too long since I have posted. Here is an easel card that was featured at my last workshop. The extra large bird punch was a hit. happy Stamping!
