On the splitcoaststamper site today there was a challenge to use "text" on your card. I copied a newspaper clipping of my wedding announcement from 29 years ago. The layout has a collage appearance which was a step out of my normal box of stamping.
This is probably one of my favorite ways to stamp. Soft colors that blend together. I love baja breeze this shade is easy to use on its own or pair up with other colors.
With the left over scraps on my craft table from the other projects I have been working on I came up with this card today. Scallop edge punch for the background paper and a paper pieced wing for this "Lucky duck".
The bight colors of this card are great. No stamping on this card today. I used the scallop punch the flowers out of designer paper and slit the petals for a 3D look added some buttons and you have an awesome card.
At splitcoaststampers there is a color challenge every Tuesday. I stamped this mini card (3x3) and paper pieced the flowerpot with designer paper and colored in the flower image with makers. the color challenge was to use Red Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango.
The challenge today at splitcoaststampers was to take inspiration from a design site call design dazzle. I choose this picture. I embossed the tree from Branch Out" with pink embossing powder.
My Father in Law recently had a birthday. I stamped this card for him. Water color paper card stock makes all the difference. The side border are rub ons.
