The color challenge this week on SCS was to use black, white and river rock. This color combo is elegant and offers the effect of calmness. I used black embossing powder on the flower and the black card stock background.
Make a wish on three! Three challenges for this one card. First I used two different designer papers from Stampin up for Monday's challenge on Splitcoaststampers. Then I used the Sketch layout on Wednesday's challenge. And if I really reach I can count this as Thursday's way to use it (music) with the song "Happy Birthday to you" The second picture shows a little message on the inside of the card. "...and many more".
On splitcoaststamper's web site they have a weekly sketch challenge. This is great to help me try new layouts. I stamped with Stampinup's stamp set Always and I also used my cuttlebug for the navy background layer. happy stamping!
I was surprised this door hanger or in this case a bottle hanger was so easy to complete. This was on the splitcoaststamper web site. I also used it for the challenge to use your own signature (or writing). I wrote "thank you for" and stamped "everything" from the always stampin up set.
Today I have stamped a card that works for two challenges. The color challenge at Splitcoaststampers (celery, orchid, and pumpkin). and the Sketch challenge on Jen's site. Stop in to her site and enjoy the inspiration.
This card was from the suggestion of Beata's weekend challange. If you zip over to her blog you will be amazed she has a special talent. I am glad you stopped by.
Hello to everyone today. I thought simple was best for this card. It is another go at Jen's challange. I colored the flower by blending with stampin up markers.
The color challenge this week was not working for me today. We were to use apricot, real read and ballent blue. I embossd the butterfly after I stamped in black ink I used clear EP and colored the image in with markers. This is a small square card 4 x4.
The inspiration challange today was pretty. I used the same colors and my center square was due to the center pillow on the bed. I embossed with copper EP and Clear EP.
I have been playing with my new cuttlebug I just got it from "Michael's" on sale 30% off!!!! Here is my first card with one of my favorite color combos. I am sending this link to Barb for a lucky bingo number.
