I was inspired by the fashion boots on the MFP web site the challenge to day was fashion with boots.  I like the flowers on the blue boots.

Simple Happy Birthday challenge

 

I had a little bit of time to play with some new stamps and join in on the challenge Simple Salutation found on MFP web site.

Another bight pretty card.  My take on the speedy fox and friends #173 I used the stamp set "Tweet Blessings" stamp set for the greeting mainly.  I needed to send a friend a card for your new home and I like the inside greeting about love makes a home.

This was a new technique for me.  I like how the card turned out.

This is for the simple salutation#58 challenge the theme is to use "Black and White,

glitter petals

 

 

I used glitter Paper for the Friends of speedy TV #85 challenge.  This a pretty bright card.  I punch the flower and inside circle out of glitter paper and leaves too.

The hummingbird is a retired stampin up stamp and the greetings from MFP the "Birthday Mini".

Silver Cross Pillows

 

I like inspiration challenges.  I made these cards for the MFP inspiration challenge.

The cross image stamp is embossed in silver it is hard to see on the photo.  My Happy Birthday stamp is from Mark's finest papers stamp set called celebration mini.

Thoughts of Birthday Cake

 

ON MFP the challenge for Friends of speedy TV FOSTV#84 the theme was Food for thought.  I think of the Birthday cake when it is a birthday for someone special.  Today I used the MFP stamp set "celebrate Mini".  I love the Birthday cake image.

Embossed hexagon stain glass

The challenge at MFP Sketch with a twist #58 the twist being to use hexagons.  I dry embossed the hexagon background onto vellum card stock then used versa mark ink over the top raised areas and heat embossed with silver EP.  I colored the back side of the hexagon images with makers giving this card a stained glass look.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hot Chili Peppers!!

For the speedy fox and Friends challenge #171

The theme was "cooking"

I choose to use the MFP set called "Hot & Spicy"

I paper pieced the chili peppers with DSP.

I like how the card is bright.

Sunset in Hawaii

 

Another MFP challenge this one today is called "Inspiration Challenge" #22.

The theme was Hawaiian shirts.  Here the one I choose. 

 

 

I used the MFP "Birthday Mini" to stamp the birthday greeting.  I cut out the tp note die with my big shot and used the colors and scene to inspire my sponge shading.  The black trees and greeting are embossed with black embossing powder.

Blessings - Faux Tearing

 

On Marks Finest Papers site there is a challenge called  "Simple Salutations"  This card was stamped for the Simple Salutations #56 Faux Tearing challenge,

I used the MFP stamp set called "Tweet Blessings" for my greeting and the flower images were stamped with a retired stamp set.  I love the Faux Tearing technique.

snowflake in August Christmas card

 

Today I stayed in the AC indoors and stamped a Christmas card. 

 It is 98 degrees in the shade here in Texas!

My card today is for MFP sketch with a twist. 

 I followed the sketch and the twist was to make a Christmas card.

 I used the stamp set "Background Fun" from MFP. 

The rest of the card was done with Stampin Up products.

Buttons and Bird

At Marks fines Papers Speedy Fox TV they have a challenge on Tuesday's call a sketch with a twist.  today the twist was to use at least 3 buttons.  Using the stamp set call "Tweet That" from Marks finest papers I this colored in the image with markers.  the leaf branches were then punched out and of course adding details with 3 buttons.

Distressed Kitty

Working on a challenge tonight for Marks Finest Papers Monday FOSTV challenge #14.  The challenge was to use the distressing technique.  I distressed the layers and sponged the scallop image and greeting also.

Autumn Fox

Stocking Card

The Sketch with a Twist this week at Marks Finest Papers was to follow the sketch but to make anything but a traditional square or rectangular card.  I came up with a Stocking Card using my big die from Stampin up.  The card opens up and your message can go inside.

Fall Leaves

My card today was is for the FOSTV #40 Challenge we were to use chipboard.  It does not show up to well on my photo but the greeting tag is a chipboard tag I stamped the words "fall leaves" on it and then stamped and embossed leaves from  Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. "Autumn Glory" stamp set.  this was a fun challenge.  there is still time to check it  out here.
